Big John is a very nice and polite man. He made my brothers and I feel very comfortable and safe on the water. We have been fishing ever since we have been able to walk, but have never been very lucky catching the big fish we hope for. That's why we looked up Big John and decided to try his charter service. I didn't think I would ever find someone who enjoys fishing as much as we do, but I did that night. We knew right from the start that he was an experienced fishermen and captain. John guaranteed that we would each catch the biggest catfish we had ever caught, and we did just that!

We fished all night and it was definitely an experience I will never forget. We went on the charter looking for monster catfish and found them, but also found a new friend. John was very patient, talkative, and in good spirits. There was never a dull moment, and before we knew it, the night was over and we were leaving the river satisfied. We couldn't stop talking about how much fun we had for weeks. I would definitely recommend his charter service to all of my friends. I believe both experienced and inexperienced fishermen would enjoy a trip on the river with Big John. The experience went above and beyond what we expected, and was well worth his reasonable prices.

You run an awesome charter and I have nothing but praises to sing for you. You are a great captain and very personable. I can't say I've had much experience with the luxury you provide but you would be one heck of a captain to top - I've been spoiled! Hopefully maybe in the spring I can get my Pops down here and get him out on the James. It would be awesome!
